FES-TA MULE occurs every December 1st to celebrate the pleasure of doing for the sake of doing, in community, reclaiming what many years ago was a necessary, productive, solo activity done at home only by women, that now is a comunal, shared experience meant soley to be enjoyed collectively.
For pleasure. For us.
To celebrate the passage of time in community, and to collectively let go of the incessant societal feeling of being productive every second of every day. The free in free time means liberty. Let’s liberate it from the weight of imposed societal expectations and return it to its meant heidonistic purpose.
